The Eat Drink RI Festival is a four-day food extravaganza showcasing all of the best food in Rhode Island. The festival runs from April 30 through May 3, and kicks off with their popular Dinner by Dames event, which showcases local female farmers, food artisans and bartenders. Portions of the proceeds of this event will go to AIDS Project RI.
On Friday, May 1, the Festival Truck Stop will be at the Alex and Ani City Center from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This one event includes more than 15 different food trucks from around the state. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.
The Grand Tasting on May 2 at the Providence Biltmore features a variety of locally produced wine, beer and spirits, as well as tons of local food artisans. To find out which exhibitors are showcasing their mouthwatering offerings, visit the Exhibitor Page on the Eat Drink RI website.
The Festival ends in style on May 3 with a Grand Brunch also at the Providence Biltmore. Enjoy all of your favorite brunch foods and drinks while listening to the jazz ensemble of the Rhode Island Philharmonic, which includes members from the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Jazz Program.
