From mermaids to unicorns this weekend is going to be interesting! Check out some of the best events happening downtown.

Friday, March 20:

  Disney's Little Mermaid Jr.
If you love "The Little Mermaid," you'll love this adaptation from Disney's 2008 Broadway production. The Stadium Theatre is pulling out all of the stops for this wonderful musical. Enjoy your favorite songs like "Part of Your World," "She's in Love" and, of course, "Under the Sea!" The shows start at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday.
Friday Night Jazz

If jazz is more your speed, head to the Friday Night Jazz show at Aspire Seasonal Kitchen. Sip some cool cocktails and listen to some smooth tunes every Friday night. The show starts at 7:30 p.m 
Saturday, March 21: 
    St. Pat's 5K
Get geared up for a St. Patrick's Day 5K! This run wraps around Providence starting at the Rhode Island State House. The race starts at 11 a.m. 

Jay Leno Live!
You've loved Jay Leno on late-night TV - now enjoy him on stage at the Providence Performing Arts Center with his stand-up comedy show. Jay Leno Live is in Providence for one night only starting at 7:30 p.m. 

Sunday, March 22:

  The Unicorn Stampede at the Providence Public Library
The Providence Public Library is hosting an art installation of 15 life-sized glittery unicorns. Yes, we said life-sized glittery unicorns. Check out this spectacular sight, which will be on display at the library until March 31. For more information on this event, view our video here.
