Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. Fluffy animals, rubber ducks and a running of the bulls are a few things in store for this weekend in Providence and around the state.
Friday, April 22
Start your weekend off by taking the kids over to the Providence Children's Museum to enjoy some animals. The museum will have bunnies and other fluffy animals for the kids to pet, as well as a demonstration of spinning and coloring yarn. The demonstrations are at 1 and 3 p.m.

Alton Brown: Eat Your Science
Alton Brown is coming back to town bringing his "Eat Your Science" tour to the Providence Performing Arts Center. If you like science, food, music and messy demonstrations this show is perfect for you. The show begins at 8 p.m.
18th Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race
Get your quack on this Saturday at the 18th Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race starting off in Westerly. 20,000 rubber ducks are dropped into the Pawcatuck River and start a journey to race for more than 40 local charities. The ducks are sent off at 11 a.m.

Get Gored for Good 2016
Join the Providence Roller Derby League in Providence's very own Running of the Bulls to benefit Amos House. This year there will also be a new 5K race included with the 1.5 mile course. The fun kicks off at 9 a.m.
