Providence Bruins vs. Albany Devils
If hockey is more your speed, you can enjoy a rowdy game over at the Dunkin' Donuts Center as the Providence Bruins take on the Albany Devils. The Providence Bruins are the AHL affiliate of the Boston Bruins, so you may even see some future talent there as well. The game starts at 7 p.m.
Saturday, January 16
Kool & the Gang
Boogie on over to the Twin River Events Center for a night of amazing classic music by Kool & the Gang. Bring your friends and dance to Kool & the Gang classics like “Celebration,” “Cherish” and “Jungle Boogie.” The show starts at 8 p.m.
Get out of the cold and take the kids over to the Providence Children’s Museum where you can explore family games with a twist: they’re all made from re-purposed materials. Learn how to use everyday items to make your own family fun. The exhibit starts at 11 a.m.
