Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. Between Olympic competitors, fairy festivals and food trucks, there's something for everyone this weekend.
Friday, June 10
2016 USA Gymnastics Championships
Head on over to the Dunkin' Donuts Center to catch the 2016 USA Gymnastics Championships. It all kicks off at 4 p.m. with festivities for fans and athletes right outside the Dunkin' Donuts Center. After the kick-off celebration the competition will begin with the Senior Elite competition starting at 6 p.m.
Food Truck Friday
Food Truck Fridays is happening this Friday, and every Friday through October, at the Roger Williams Park Carousel Village. Enjoy a smorgasbord of great food from some of the area's best food trucks. The trucks will be there from 5 to 8 p.m.

Festival of Historic Houses
The Providence Preservation Society is holding their annual Festival of Historic Houses event on Saturday. Many of the museums and mansions in and around Providence will be open and free to the public. Check out our Explore Historic Providence page for more info on what there is to do.
Check out Chris Pennie live at the Comedy Connection of Rhode Island. Pennie is a Massachusetts native who has been on the comedy scene for more than five years. He has been a finalist in the Plymouth Rock Comedy Festival and Dick Doherty’s Beantown Comedy Riots, as well as an invitee to the Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta. There are two shows, one at 8 p.m. and the second at 10 p.m.

Spring is a magical time, and Blithewold Mansions, Gardens & Arboretum knows it. Join them as their hold their 6th annual Fairy Festival, a magical celebration of the gardens and grounds at Blithewold. There will be plenty of fun for children of all ages. Fairy costumes are highly encouraged. The festival starts at 10 a.m.
