Head over to Trinity Repertory Company to see the international comedic hit "Late Nite Catechism." This is a perfect show for anyone who has experienced the world of Catholic schooling. Friday's show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Food Truck Fridays
Food Truck Fridays is happening this Friday, and every Friday through October, at the Roger Williams Park Carousel Village. Enjoy a smorgasbord of great food from some of the area's best food trucks. The trucks will be there from 5-8 p.m.

Hope Street Spring Block Party
Stop by Hope Street on Saturday for the Hope Street Spring Block Party. There will be plenty of bands, food trucks, fashion shows and more. The festivities begin at 12 p.m. and run through 6 p.m.
WaterFire Basin Lighting
WaterFire will be holding a basin lighting starting at sunset this Saturday. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of WaterFire, an art installation of nearly 100 bonfires set ablaze on the surface of three rivers right in the middle of Providence. This WaterFire is sponsored by The Met High School. The fires are lit at 7:30 p.m.

Newport Oyster Festival
Head down to historic Bowen's Wharf in Newport for a shucking good time. The Newport Oyster Festival brings local farmers together with local restaurants to showcase some of the best oyster-based dishes using fresh, locally grown oysters. The festival starts at 11 a.m.
