Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. A masquerade ball, Oktoberfest celebration and two all-star comedians are just a few things in store for this weekend.    

Friday, October 14

Haunted Providence Masquerade Ball
It's almost Halloween, so bring on the costume parties! This Friday, head over to Aurora Providence for the Haunted Providence Masquerade Ball. Dress up to the theme of "Good vs. Evil" to enter to win great prizes. There will also be a silent auction to benefit the Providence Animal Rescue League. The party starts at 9 p.m.

Saturday, October 15

Carve Your Own Jack-O-Lantern at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
Get your carving on at the Roger Williams Park Zoo with a lesson from the master. John Reckner, founder of Passion for Pumpkins and the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, will be on hand to show different techniques in carving his masterpieces. All participants receive a pumpkin, set of tools, buffet dinner, open bar and VIP access to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. Carvings start at 3 p.m.

Oktoberfest 2016
Bring your appetite to Union Station Brewery for their Oktoberfest celebration. For $20, you'll receive a stein with free refills until the beer is gone, buffet dinner and entertainment. Festivities start at 2 p.m.

Sunday, October 16

Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood
Catch comedic geniuses Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood at The VETS, as they take the stage for a night of laughs. Best known for their time on "Whose Line is it Anyway?" Brad and Colin improvise new material every night based on audience participation. No two shows are the same. Sunday's show starts at 7 p.m.
