Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. A spectacular display of jack-o-lanterns, nonstop comedic gold, and a Columbus Day Festival are just a few things happening this weekend in Providence.

Friday, October 7

Start your weekend off at Trinity Repertory Company with a showing of "Appropriate." This story follows an estranged family that reunites at the estate of the deceased family patriarch. As they go through mementos, they find a unique relic, which brings many questions and revelations. Friday's showing starts at 7 p.m.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
You know the fall season is in full swing when the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular returns to the Roger Williams Park Zoo. Stroll through the zoo and marvel at the hundreds of handcrafted jack-o-lanterns that light up the night. The spectacular starts at 5:30 pm.
