Take the Providence to Newport Ferry and head down to the Newport Wooden Boat Show & International Boat Show happening on Friday. You'll find a beautiful array of wooden boats in the water at Bowen's Ferry Landing marina. The show starts at 11 a.m.

Ocean State Oyster Festival 2016
Get your shuck on at the 2nd annual Ocean State Oyster Festival right in the middle of downtown Providence. Peruse a perfect selection of beer, wine and food trucks as you enjoy music from local bands. And who can forget the oysters? With the purchase of your ticket you will receive a half-dozen local oysters and a cold beverage of your choice. The festival kicks off at 11 a.m.
For more than 55 years Don Rickles has been making us laugh. On Saturday he returns to the Twin River Casino Event Center for a hilarious night of entertainment. Don hits the stage at 8 p.m.

Guys As Dolls!
The Comedy Connection of Rhode Island is hosting a drag show like no other. "Guys As Dolls" is a hilarious show featuring Haley Star, LaDiva Jonz and Sabrina Blaze. The drag extravaganza starts at 7 p.m.
Lobster and Clam Boil
Head over to Harbor Lights Marina and Country Club for an end of the summer bash with their Lobster and Clam Boil. For $50 you'll enjoy an all-inclusive buffet of New England clam chowder, clam cakes, lobster, steamers, corn, potatoes and much more. The food fun starts at 3:30 p.m.
