Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage
Catch "Beowulf: A Thousand Years of Baggage" as it makes its debut at Trinity Repertory Company. This rock 'n' roll retelling of the classic Old English poem shows Beowulf defending the great hall against the monster Grendel, Grendel's Mother, and a fire-breathing dragon. Friday's show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Celtic Rock Festival
Celebrate your Irish heritage with the Celtic Rock Festival at the Alex and Ani City Center this Saturday. Eileen Ivers headlines this Celtic Rock Festival along with Tartan Terrors, The Town Pants and Pendragon. The festival starts at 2:30 p.m. and will include an Irish vendor area, kids' area with face painting and more, and of course plenty of libations for all.
Superhero Street Fair
Bring the kids down to the Roger Williams Park Carousel Village to meet local heroes and brush up on their own superhero powers. The kids will also be able to refuel with delicious morsels from food trucks thanks to FoodTrucksIn. The fun starts at 11 a.m.

Head down to India Point Park for the 6th Annual Rhode Island Seafood Festival. Sample delicious seafood from local vendors, local bands and plenty of fun for the whole family. The festival is on both Saturday and Sunday, and starts at 11 a.m.
