“Brown liquors” — bourbon, whiskey and scotch — are red hot in beverage circles. Now’s your chance to sip some of the spirits world’s finest offerings as part of Bourbon Street Providence. The event, which takes place Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Rhode Island Convention Center, features top distilleries, some of the area’s best restaurants, and live music by Blockhead, as well as a display of cars by BMW of Warwick.  

Highlights include a rare VIP experience, which includes tasting the Macallan Single Malt Scotch Collection and the Highland Park Collection. Restaurant partners include the The Capital Grille, Fleming’s Steakhouse, Back 40, Terrazza, Layali and more.
