Alright, it’s finally summer! Here's to tan lines and iced coffees. The PWCVB is looking forward to a number of conferences and conventions coming in this summer, so be sure to check the Convention Calendar to be prepared. As you know, Rhode Island has direct flights with Norwegian Airlines to (and from!) Ireland, Norway and Scotland out of Green Airport. We’ve had the pleasure of hosting a few of our Irish industry partners and look forward to a lasting relationship between the destinations. We will reach out to you about packaging and contesting as we move forward.
Providence Restaurant Weeks is in full swing, now through July 22 with nearly 100 participating restaurants. The PWCVB is running a Restaurant Weeks contest through next week with a pretty sweet prize. We're giving away an overnight at the Omni Providence, tickets to Elvis Costello & the Imposters at PPAC and a gift card to Tavolo. Thank you to our partners on this great prize package.

The Hampton Inn in Pawtucket is nearly ready, we are all excited for another addition to our lodging options. Check out the PWCVB Partner Facebook page for awesome photos of the progress.
According to my friend, this is the best time of year to get out and golf. Head on over to Hillside Country Club and tee up (or hit the spa!) or Harbor Lights (and stop by for a dip in the pool). Don’t forget that both are open for parties and events.
