Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. The holiday season is here! Enjoy some festive events happening around the state. 

 Friday, November 27: 

Sparkle! An Outdoor Family Event 
Enjoy some festive holiday fun for the whole family at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens & Arboretum. This weekend kicks off the holiday season at Blithewold where you can stroll through the illuminated gardens and greenhouse while listening to joyous carolers. Hot cocoa, s'mores and a roaring bonfire will also be available. The festivities start at 6 p.m.

Native American Tales
Join the Providence Children's Museum in celebrating Native American culture this Friday. Thawn Sherente Harris shares his Narragansett culture through song, dance and stories. The performances are at 2 and 3 p.m.

 Saturday, November 28:
 

Santa's Arrival & Holiday Parade
Santa Claus is coming to town! Welcome Santa this holiday season at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. Stick around the zoo for a wonderful holiday parade through the zoo, and check out the animals while you're there. You can also bring by a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots collection box. Santa arrives promptly at 9 a.m.

9th Annual Short Story Film Festival 
Head over to AS220 for a wonderful event featuring short stories from around the world. The 35 films include U.S. premieres from Europe, Australia, South America and the Middle East. The showings start at 3 p.m.

 Sunday, November 29:

Chez Pascal Holiday Craft Show
Browse through vintage jewelry, pottery, handmade crafts and more at the Chez Pascal Holiday Craft Show. Local artists will show off their wonderful wares as you enjoy some food from the Wurst Kitchen and drinks from the bar. The show starts at 11 a.m.
