Returning to the Providence Performing Arts Center is the ever-inspiring Shen Yun. Relive 5,000 years of Chinese culture at this dazzling performance with the foremost trained dancers and a unique orchestra that seamlessly blends Eastern and Western styles. The show starts at 7:30 p.m..

Old Jews Telling Jokes
The name says it all for this five-comedian play. Based on new and old jokes, this show will have you laughing and thinking all at once. The Chase Theater at Trinity Repertory Company is the perfect place for this one-of-a-kind show. Show starts at 7:30 p.m.

 Saturday, April 18:
 

Blithewold ... The Good Life: Opening Night Cocktail Party
Enjoy "the good life" at Blithewold Mansions, Gardens & Arboretum! The Good Life is a flower show hosted by Blithewold, and Saturday night is the opening party. Enjoy cocktails and live music while perusing some of the best food from around the area. The party kicks off at 6 p.m.

Mythical Creatures
Marvel at mystical creatures at the Providence Children's Museum this Saturday. In conjunction with the Unicorns in Residence program at the Providence Public Library, children can explore fabled creatures like unicorns and dragons. They'll be able to create "Missing Unicorn" posters and even paint with invisible ink! This event takes place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

 Sunday, April 19:

Brit Floyd - The World's Greatest Pink Floyd Show
Rock out at The VETS this Sunday! Enjoy your favorite hits from Pink Floyd at this spectacular show. Brit Floyd recreates the experience of a Pink Floyd concert, right down to every musical note, and even includes a state-of-the-art light show. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.
