Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup! Mystical fairies, lovely llamas and bulls on wheels running through the streets of Providence. Just three of the spectacular events happening this weekend. 

 

 Friday, April 24: 

Party for the Planet
In celebration of Earth Day, the Roger Williams Park Zoo is having a party for the planet. Learn all about the different animals that reside in the zoo and all of the regions that they come from. This experience runs from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m.

Farm Friends at the Providence Children's Museum
Kids of all ages can encounter a soft sheep, a lively llama and more farm animals in the Providence Children's Museum Children's Garden. Learn from local Rhode Island farmers as they demonstrate how to turn wool into yarn right before your eyes! The demonstrations start at 1 p.m.

 Saturday, April 25:
 

Urban Vintage Bazaar 
Carmen & Ginger will be hosting their Urban Vintage Bazaar at their first downtown location this spring; at the Arcade Providence! Enjoy more than 15 vendors of vintage clothing, accessories, housewares and more. The bazaar runs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Fairy Garden Days
Join the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center for a magical journey with fairies and flowers. View fairy homes and gardens and then learn how to create your own from found materials. This event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 Sunday, April 26:

Get Gored for Good
Run at your own risk at Get Gored for Good: Providence's Running of the Bulls! Head downtown for this unbelieva-bull event to benefit Amos House in partnership with the Providence Roller Derby. When you're done, celebrate with your friends at the outdoor after-party. Registration starts at 10 a.m.
