Welcome to another GoProvidence Weekend Roundup. WaterFire, drag queens and Shakespearean plays are just a few highlights of this weekend's events.

 Friday, September 11:

An Evening of Drag with Kitty Litter
Enjoy a fabulous night of flamboyant fun with the one and only Ms. Kitty Litter at the Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket. Kitty Litter's act includes witty musical comedy and energetic banter that will keep you on your toes! Seating is limited, so be sure to get your tickets soon. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Julius Caesar at Trinity Rep
Trinity Repertory Company is putting on this classic play with a twist. Caesar, played by resident company member Anne Scurria, returns from war to find a group of friends plotting against her. Find out what happens in this terrific interpretation of a well-known classic. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and runs through October 11.

 Saturday, September 12:

WaterFire
WaterFire will be having a full lighting this Saturday starting at sunset. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of WaterFire, an art installation of nearly 100 bonfires set ablaze on the surface of three rivers right in the middle of Providence. This WaterFire event is sponsored by Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. The fires are lit around 7:02 p.m.

RI Seafood Festival
Seafood is one of the things that we excel at in Rhode Island, so there is no wonder we have a festival to celebrate it. The 2015 Rhode Island Seafood Festival will showcase some of New England's best local seafood, drinks and live music. India Point Park is the perfect location for this end of the summer bash. The festival runs from Saturday to Sunday starting at 11 a.m. both days.

 Sunday, September 13:

Grandparent's Day at Providence Children's Museum
Celebrate grandparents this year at the Providence Children's Museum. Admission to the Museum is free all Sunday for grandparents with their grandchildren. Bring the family to play and explore the many exhibits that they have to offer. The museum opens at 9 a.m.
