9 a.m. Savoring Rhode Island - Bask in a delightful three hour behind the scenes tour of some of Federal Hill's finest establishments; including restaurants, shops, and bakeries. Enjoy a cooking demonstration with lunch, and top of your tour at the wine store with a sampling! You will have gained a better understanding as to why Federal Hill, which features numerous restaurants & shops, is recognized as one of the finest places R.I. has to offer.
Noon Culinary Arts Museum at Johnson & Wales - This fabulous museum transcends you in time in seeking a balance to both preserve and interpret our broad culinary and hospitality heritage. The museum demonstrates the evolution of food preparation and presentation. The museum also offers an exhibit of diners throughout the country.
1 p.m. Geppetto's Lunch & Demonstration - Located on DePasquale Plaza in the heart of Federal Hill enjoy a fun filled demonstration of a wood grilled pizza and then feast away on the fabulous results, or partake first hand and create your own.
2:30 p.m. Botanical Gardens- Located in our beautiful Roger Williams Park in Providence, come and enjoy a "Botanical Paradise" in the botanical center complete with a 12,000 square foot conservatory, indoor gardens, educational center and seasonal event tent. Experience an environment that awakens your senses while maintaining a peaceful and tranquil habitat. Groups may also enjoy a box lunch in the peaceful setting of the conservatory.
4 p.m. Return to Hotel - Refresh
5:30 p.m. Dinner at Waterplace Restaurant - A unique dining experience awaits you!
