Rhode Island Convention Center • One Sabin Street • Providence, RI
Project Undercover provides the basic necessities of underwear, socks, and diapers to our region's many children and infants in need. Facts at a glance:
• 1 in 6 RI children goes without enough underwear, socks, or diapers.
• RI has the highest childhood poverty rate of all of the New England states.
• Project Undercover is the only non-profit agency in New England with the express mandate of providing these basic necessities to children.
• Over its nearly 20-year history, Project Undercover has distributed more than 2 million items to children in need.
This holiday season, Project Undercover is launching an awareness campaign about the silent impacts of childhood poverty. The Biggest Sock will hang in the East Rotunda (the Main Entrance) of the RI Convention Center from November 29, 2011 through January 1, 2012. The Biggest Sock is just over 3 stories tall, and the foot of The Biggest Sock is nearly 2 stories long. On December 2, 2011, The Biggest Sock will be measured by Guinness World Records International for certification as the World's Largest Sock.

Your business, organization or family can bring holiday joy to teens in foster care, group homes and shelters by providing gifts for teens in the Department of Children, Youth and Families' (DCYF) care. Usher in the holiday season by helping these young people.
"Adopt" a group home. Decide how many teens you would like to help and your team will be matched with a group home(s). We will provide the teens' ages, interests and wish lists. You will select, provide and wrap their gifts - some groups even personally deliver them! This wonderful team building activity can be done at no financial cost to your business.
