Workshop Week at the Rhody Center

Come try single classes in music and dance, during our annual Workshop Week, August 31 - September 3. During this time we will offer the following adult classes: salsa footwork and body movement, belly dance, Bollywood dance, ukulele for beginners, hip hop, and a stomp-style percussion ensemble. Workshops are $14, with no registration fees and practically zero commitment. Class sizes are capped at 10-12, so sign up early (pre-registration is still required). Try something fun and new!

Portugal has a tradition of moving water substantial distances for agricultural and communal needs, dating back at least to Roman times, and has many aqueducts. Fraternite: The French in Newport

A two-part exhibit that showcases the role of the French during the Revolutionary War. The Colony House portion focuses on the French participation in Rhode Island during the American Revolution.
