The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB), which organizes the event, has partnered with two websites to add social media to the list of enticements. On Yelp.com, online reviewers can "check in" via smartphones at participating venues to receive special offers good for a return visit. At Foodspotting.com, those who upload photos of their recommendations at any of the locations will be eligible to win gift cards from participating restaurants.
There are restrictions at a few restaurants, such as not offering the deals on weekends. For those restaurants who've posted their menus, you'll find such details here. Keep in mind tax and gratuity are generally not included. But in some cases drinks are. Menus can be found at Providencerestaurantweeks.com. Many are there, but more will be posted by restaurants as the weeks draw closer.
