The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB), the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, and the City of Warwick want Rhode Islanders to fill up their tanks, buckle their seatbelts, and embark on any of the eight specially curated road trips, dubbed “Joy Rides,” highlighting businesses and attractions throughout Providence, Warwick, and the Blackstone Valley.

“This winter, joy isn’t exclusive to just the holidays,” said Kristen Adamo, president and CEO of the PWCVB. “These Joy Rides offer a safe and fun way for families to get out of the house, enjoy the sights and attractions in areas of the state they may not be familiar with, and support local small businesses — especially in what’s typically the slow time of year following the holiday rush.”

Joy Ride themes include family fun, great places to shop, comfort food across cultures, Rhode Island classics, and much more. Each trip includes recommendations for grabbing a bite to eat and where you can book an overnight stay. If you don’t feel like doing the driving yourself, Experience Rhode Island offers a variety of their own pre-planned driving tours, while ROCKSTAR LIMO is offering great deals on private chauffeur packages for a limited time.
