FLICKERS: Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) has won a New England Emmy Award in the category of Community/Public Service Announcement (PSA). The trophy was presented in the packed ballroom of the Boston Marriott Copley Place for the 35th Annual Boston/New England Emmy Award on Sunday, June 2, 2012.

This year, Flickers received two nominations for its production work: the "2011 Rhode Island International Film Festival PSA" directed by Eric Latek; and "My Life, My Choice," created by the New England Media Coalition for the non-profit Justice Resource Institute (www.jri.org). The latter is part of the annual 7 Day PSA Competition.
