For the fourth summer in a row, PVD Food Truck Events served up locally made food all over Rhode Island, but our engines aren’t cooling down yet! The trucks are turning up the heat at some great fall events this season.
Check out what’s in store for the rest of 2018:
Warwick Food Truck Nights
Oct. 4 | 5–8 p.m.
Pontiac Park, Warwick
Oct. 18 | 5–8 p.m.
City Hall, Warwick
Two of the busiest food truck spots in our summer rotation, Warwick's Pontiac Park and City Hall continue the fun this fall. On Oct. 18, bring the little ones in costume for early trick-or-treating at the food trucks. Then relax on the sidelines with your meal of choice as the Halloween Parade marches around City Hall.
Southern New England Giant Pumpkin Growers Weigh-Off
The largest pumpkin ever grown was right here in 2012 at 2,009 lbs. Can that be topped this year? While the gourds get weighed in, the kids will love the pirate ship and western town play areas. While you’re at it, make a pit stop at the food trucks for some festive fall treats.
**While admission is free, parking is $5.**
Food Truck Night at Sons of Liberty
Oct. 11 & Nov. 8 | 5:30–8 p.m.
Sons of Liberty, South Kingstown
The tasting room is a must-see for 21+ beer and spirit lovers. Come and sample draft beer, craft cocktails, and in-house brew-distilled whiskey. Create your own unique pairing by mix and matching their brews and food truck fare. Families and four-legged friends are also welcome to enjoy the trucks and outdoor activities.
Food Trucks on Thayer Street
Nestled in the heart of College Hill, the party really starts when the food trucks pull in. Take a stroll down the historic street under the stars with dinner-to-go and check out the local shops.
Deck the Trunks With Food Truck Follies
Frerichs Farms’ newest tradition combines a love of tinsel and tailgating. Decorate your trunk for Christmas in the “trunk trimming” contest (don’t forget to register in advance) and admire the other contestants’ displays while enjoying a snack from your favorite truck.
