The 32nd Annual American Cheese Society (ACS) Conference & Competition is heading to Providence from July 29 to August 1. This event is the foremost educational conference and cheese competition in North America and it owes its success to all of its volunteers. ACS is looking for volunteers to help from July 23 to August 2. Volunteers will receive a free "ASC Cheese Camp Counselor" t-shirt and a ticket to the Festival of Cheese on Saturday, August 1. All volunteers must be 18 years or older and have the option to work shifts that vary in length. Meals will be provided for volunteers during their shifts. Volunteers are needed for the ACS Judging & Competition, conference registration, preparing cheeses for educational tastings, and helping to set up for the Festival of Cheeses. Events will take place at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
