Downtown Providence Sip 'n Shop
Enjoy your favorite beverage while shopping along historic Westminster Street and then stroll over to the lighting of the City Hall Christmas tree. As an added bonus, downtown parking meters will be free of charge during this time. The shopping fun starts at 4 p.m. and the tree lighting is at 5 p.m.
Irving Berlin's White Christmas
Get into the holiday spirit at the Ocean State Theatre Company in Warwick, RI, where you can catch a performance of "Irving Berlin's White Christmas." This classic Christmas musical includes many of your favorite songs, including "Blue Skies," "I Love A Piano," and, of course, "White Christmas."

Boat Rides With Santa
Cruise the beautiful Providence Rivers while enjoying time with the Big Guy himself — Santa! Bring the kids along so they can tell Santa their Christmas wishes while sipping on complimentary cocoa with the Providence River Boat Company. Rides start at 10 a.m.
Providence Christmas Tree Lighting
Head down to the Alex & Ani Skating Center for a special night. Mayor Jorge Elorza will light the rink's Christmas tree with help from WJAR's Patrice Wood and music by the Providence Gay Men's Chorus. Stick around after the lighting for a figure skating demonstration showcasing some of the world's finest champions. The festivities begin at 5 p.m.

Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie's Doorway to Magic
Bring the kids to The VETS for a special showing of Disney Live! Mickey and Minnie's Doorway to Magic. Join Mickey and Minnie as they go on a magical adventure along with some special appearances by Snow White, Tinker Bell and Aladdin's Genie! Sunday's shows are at noon and 3 p.m.
