The Witches' Night Out Market returns to Rhode Island for a second time this year, now at the WaterFire Arts Center on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6–10 p.m. Geared towards witches, magical practitioners, and the metaphysically-minded, this event features an array of curated artisans and mystical merchants, psychic readings and body workers, free mini-lectures from local experts, community chat space, and more!
Join Mayor Jorge Elorza, the Department of Art, Culture + Tourism, the Downtown Providence Parks Conservancy, the Partnership for Providence Parks, and the Department of Parks & Recreation for the 2019 Winter Lights Market on Friday, Dec. 6 from 5–9 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 12–9 p.m. There's fun for the whole family, including two tree lighting ceremonies, world champion figure skating demonstrations, special giveaways, live performances, the Eat Drink RI Market and so much more!
The French American School of RI Parent Association is partnering with The Providence Flea to host a traditional European Winter Market on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. The Marché de Noël (Christmas Market) will include food trucks, face painting, holiday cards and activities for children of all ages. There will also be an array of holiday gifts, such as vintage ornaments, jewelry, clothing, candles and soaps, and more!
Rooms & Works is hosting a holiday market on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 12–5 p.m. Shop for holiday gifts from R&W tenants and other local Providence artists. Enjoy food from Providence Kitchen Collaborative members, Solid Gold Provisions, KNEAD Doughnuts and Good Egg Bakeshop, specialty drinks from Far West, and beer from Long Live Beerworks.
The Providence Flea returns for their seventh annual holiday markets Sundays, Dec. 8 and 15 from 11 a.m.–5 p.m., at a new location: the WaterFire Arts Center. The popular summer market moves indoors, allowing shoppers to score some great gifts for the holiday season. Shop more than 65 local vintage vendors and artisan/makers.
On Sunday, Dec. 8, Hope Street will be closed from Rochambeau Street to 5th Street from 11 a.m.–5 p.m. for your strolling pleasure. There will be food trucks, music, live entertainment, a beer garden and, of course, shopping!
On Sunday, Dec. 22, the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center will be turned into a magical wonderland filled with extremely talented local artisans who will be selling their wares for all the last-minute shoppers.
