Spring has officially sprung and with graduations, festivals and WaterFire, you have every reason (not that you need one) to get out and enjoy this beautiful season in Rhode Island. No matter where you go or what you do, the views alone are Instagram-worthy. Here's what's happening at the PWCVB and with you, our partners.

PWCVB NEWS
Neighborhood Launch

The PWCVB, joined by Mayor Jorge Elorza, recently unveiled 15 electronic guides to neighborhoods, aimed at encouraging visitors to explore more of Providence. The release of the new guides was part of National Tourism Week, which celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of the travel industry. Click here for a list of all 15 of the neighborhood guides.

It's time to gear up for graduations. With eight college and university campuses located in Providence, the city is bustling during graduation season. Check out the list of commencement dates from across all of Rhode Island.

Our next Partner Meeting is on Tuesday, May 22, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Knead Doughnuts at 135 Elmgrove Ave., Providence. RSVP to CRM Database and Research Coordinator Beth-Anne Tremaine.

As always, be sure to add your events to our online calendar. If you have any questions or difficulties please reach out to PWCVB Digital Media Manager Nick Millard.

Also, our friends at Providence River Boat have a new home. But don’t worry, they’re still really close to The Hot Club. Its new departure point is: The Fox Point Marina at 525 South Water Street.

Speaking of, La Gondola, they won the Editor's Choice award for 2018 Best River Cruise in Yankee Magazine! They’ve got a few new boats in their future too.

Join the first Best Bloody Mary competition in Providence presented by the New England Hemophilia Association (NEHA) and RI FOOD FIGHTS, on Sunday, May 20, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the oldest shopping mall in America, The Arcade. All proceeds will benefit the important work NEHA does for those living with a bleeding disorder.
