It’s time to once again celebrate the arts scene in Providence. From national tour openings to London’s hottest dance group, it’s hard to beat February’s performance lineup. Here are all of the shows you can look forward to in February.

February 4 - March 6

The Hunchback of Seville
Trinity Rep presents this tale set at the turn of the 16th century, with Christopher Columbus returning from the New World with gold in his pockets and blood on his hands. Queen Isabella’s adopted sister, whose life was to be spent locked in a tower, had decided the future of the country now depended on her. Discover the peril she endures as a future Queen.

February 6

Shen Yuen
Head to the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) to discover 5,000 years of uninterrupted Chinese history in one night. Travel through time while watching stunning performances showcasing Asian culture and beauty.   

February 12

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Live
Take the kids to The VETS to see Daniel Tiger live on stage. Visit the neighborhood of make believe, inspired by the legendary “Mister Rogers,” and hop onboard the trolley with Daniel and his friends. Bring back memories and share new ones with your little ones.   

February 14

Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage
For the first time ever “Star Trek: The Ultimate Voyage” brings five decades of Star Trek to PPAC. This mesmerizing concert spectacle features acclaimed music accompanied by televised footage projected onto a 40-foot-wide screen.   

February 16-21

PPAC welcomes the Broadway sensation “Pippin” to its stage, with high-flying acrobatics and incredible songs written by the composer of “Wicked.” Discover Broadway at its finest right here in Providence.   

February 26

Mass Gothic
Globally signed artist, Mass Gothic will be playing at the Columbus Theatre. Enjoy some of his most famous songs, as well as songs from his newest album which debuted in January.  

February 27

Urban Bush Women – Walking with ‘Trane
FirstWorks presents “Urban Bush Women - Walking with ‘Trane” at The VETS. This all-female dance ensemble brings a jazz masterpiece to life onstage, with innovative choreography and music by Grammy Award-winning composer George Caldwell.  

Theresa Caputo Live! The Experience
Everybody’s favorite medium is back. Join PPAC in welcoming Theresa Caputo, and don’t miss your chance to see this TLC star. Believers and non-believers are welcome. See her amazing skills live in action and give her a chance to make you a believer.
