Janella Watson

Janella Watson is the new associate director at Providence Children’s Museum. She comes to Providence after six years as Director of Early Childhood Education at the New York Hall of Science and eight years at Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago. Janella currently serves as a STEM advisor to Nickelodeon’s Preschool Division and DreamWorks Animation Television, and holds an undergraduate degree in sociology from Northwestern University. She is a passionate advocate for sensory-rich play, making and design-based learning.
