Take Advantage of Free 2-Hour Weekend Parking May 1-31, 2026

The City of Providence is celebrating Small Business Month with "Found in Providence," a fun way to encourage residents and visitors to explore the small businesses and neighborhoods in Providence. Each week, a new clue will be released on the City's social platforms. Follow along to explore new places, visit old favorites and enter to win prizes!

Weekends in May will feature free two-hour parking from Friday to Sunday, along with sidewalk sales, extended hours and more from participating businesses. While parking meter violations will not be issued during free parking in the specified districts, two-hour parking limits will be enforced to allow all residents and visitors to take advantage of the campaign.
