Explore Providence's Pumpkin Spice Scene

It's only fitting that we start with coffee. It was, after all, a Pumpkin Spice Latte that sparked the entire phenomenon. We recommend the traditional Pumpkin Spice Latte at Caffe Nero or Hope & Main's Pumpkin Pie Latte, a seasonal special featuring pumpkin-spiced oat milk creamer, espresso, chai syrup and steamed milk. Yum!

If you prefer your pumpkin spice with a little kick, don't miss the Pumpkin Spice Martini at Angelo's Civita Farnese, featuring their house-made pumpkin puree. Or head to Malted Barley for the Basic Lebowski. The combination of vanilla vodka, coffee liqueur and pumpkin spice Irish cream is fabulous. But that's just, like, our opinion, man.

Rather have a beer? No problem! Narragansett Brewing Company's Gourd Reaper and Union Station Brewery's Nightmare on Thayer Street are locally brewed and suitably pumpkin spiced. Best of all, both locations have patios ideal for enjoying an outdoor pint on fall afternoons.

As you can see, Providence offers a plethora of pumpkin beverages. But there are also some tasty dishes on local menus, whether you're in the mood for brunch, dinner or even dessert. Try the Pumpkin Spice French Toast at Blu Violet's weekend lunch or the Fried Pumpkin Ravioli at Costantino's Venda Bar on Federal Hill. Finish your night off with Circe's White Chocolate Pumpkin Crème Brulee, which comes with a side of salted caramel popcorn. Who could resist?
