It’s bittersweet when summer comes to an end. School is back in session this month, but the season isn’t over yet! The food trucks still have plenty to serve up, and won’t be closing shop anytime soon.
To be sure you end summer on a high note, we have nearly a month’s worth of events planned. This is also the last hurrah for some locations for the rest of the year, so make sure you don’t miss out. Check out all the places we’ll be in Rhode Island during August:
Food Truck Friday Carousel Village
Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 | 5–8:30 p.m.
Providence, RI
You’re bound to see your favorite truck this month, with five chances to visit the rotation at our flagship event! Once you’ve grabbed some chow, be sure to visit the Trinity Brewhouse tent for one of their top-notch ales (Mug Club members, don’t leave your stein at home!). Raise your drink on Aug. 2 for International Beer Day — there’s no better place to celebrate than with great people and great food.
Warwick Food Truck Night
Aug. 1 | 5–8 p.m. | Pontiac Park (145 Greenwich Ave.)
Aug. 15 | 5–8 p.m. | Rocky Point (300 Rocky Point Ave.)
Warwick, RI
Food trucks continue to make the rounds in Warwick every first and third Thursday, with the next stop at Pontiac Park. With easy access off Route 295, it’s a breeze getting off the crowded highway and straight to delicious food. On Aug. 15, join us at Rocky Point Park, a location that’s a staple of summer fun. Once beloved for its namesake amusement park, in recent years it’s become home to one of our largest food truck events of the season. Choose from over 20 trucks and enjoy your meal on the green or along the shoreline.
Food Truck Concert Nights
Aug. 3 | 4:30–7:30 p.m. & Aug. 24 | 4:30–7 p.m.
Lincoln, RI
We’re getting in as many events as we can before summer is over, so be sure to visit during one of our two August dates — or come to both! Eat off a variety of menus, grab a drink from the beer tent (don’t forget your reusable mug), and get a good spot on the hill to watch the live music guests of the evening. There’s plenty of room at the top of the hill for kids to run around and parents to relax.
Scituate Food Trucks & Concert Nights
Aug. 7 & 21 | 5–8 p.m.
North Scituate, RI
There’s plenty of summer bustle happening in the heart of Scituate. Food Truck Concert Night is the place to be after a day at the pond. Fill up on your favorite eats or make a complete meal out of various food truck fare while listening to the live music.
Food Truck Night at Sons of Liberty
Aug. 8 | 5:30–8:30 p.m.
South Kingstown, RI
Have a sample of both food truck fare and the Sons of Liberty Spirits Co. craft cocktails in one night. Try one of the award-winning malt whiskeys or a Loyal 9 Lemonade in the tasting room or during a tour. We guarantee you’ll find a refreshing drink that goes great with your favorite food. As you sip and eat, enjoy live upbeat rock and reggae music by Dudemanbro.
Warren Summer Concert Series & Food Truck Nights
Aug. 11 & 25 | 5–8 p.m.
Warren, RI
With the weekend in motion, there’s no excuse to miss out on delicious bites and great music! Pull up a lawn chair with your favorite meal in tow and get a great view of the band shell. Blues and rock singer Becky Chace Band joins us during the first weekend, and Back In The Day has your favorite 70s and 80s tributes on Aug. 25.
Food Trucks at the Fairgrounds
Aug. 14 | 5–8 p.m.
Foster, RI
When it’s the dog-days of summer, there’s nothing like being out in the fresh air with tasty seasonal grub and cold treats. Break up the work week with a relaxing night of food trucks right across the street from Foster Town Hall. There’s plenty of room to open a blanket and have a good old-fashioned picnic ... no cooking required.
The Assembly of Food Trucks
Aug. 18 | 3–7 p.m.
Harrisville, RI
Burrillville goes mad for food trucks, so be sure to arrive early. Central to lots of northern R.I. and southern Mass. communities, the Assembly of Food Trucks is one of our most popular new events this year. Bring your food of choice and a beer (remember your steins, Mug Club members!) into the shade by the scenic pond and waterfall.
Food Truck Concert Nights at Diamond Hill
Aug. 22 | 5–8 p.m.
Cumberland, RI
This is your last chance to catch the food trucks in Cumberland. After a long hike or day of play in Diamond Hill Park, sate your appetite with choices from more than 15 trucks. Relax on a blanket or in a lawn chair in front of the huge concert area — there’s no bad view of the show.
Food Truck Nights at Holy Trinity
Aug. 28 | 5–8 p.m.
Woonsocket, RI
It’s back-to-school week in Woonsocket, and time to plan one last summer adventure. All you need is good company and an empty stomach. Sample something new or head to your top-choice comfort food.
Salsa Nights 2019
Aug. 30 | 8–11 p.m.
Central Falls, RI

You don’t want to miss the best block party in Central Falls with tasty food truck goodies, beer and wine, and fun activities for all ages. Can’t dance? It’s no excuse to skip out!
