The journey to the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship begins in Providence at the Amica Mutual Pavilion from March 29–31. The NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey East Regional will bring four teams in the final NCAA hockey standings to Rhode Island to compete in single-elimination games on Friday, for the right to advance to the Frozen Four.
The first game on Friday features the #1 seed Boston College versus #4 Michigan Tech at 2 p.m. The following game tips off at 5:30 p.m. with #2 Wisconsin versus #3 Quinnipiac. The two winning teams from Friday's matches will compete against each other in the Providence Regional Championship on Sunday, March 31. Winners will then be on the road to the Frozen Four for a chance at the National Championship title.
