A few nor’easters here and there haven't kept us down. Things are bustling in the city and here's an update on what's going on with our partners and here at the PWCVB.

St. Patrick's DaySt. Joseph's Day ZeppoleEaster Dining & Events

The PWCVB's seasonal web pages are always a big draw to our site. We're currently promoting St. Patrick's Day, St. Joseph's Day and Easter events with dedicated pages and blogs. We'll soon be marketing April School Vacation and Mother's Day, so be sure to let us know if you are doing anything special for any upcoming holidays.

Our next Partner Meeting is on Tuesday, March 20 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Wicked Good Bar & Grill at Twin River Casino. Sarah Bratko, Manager of Governmental Affairs at the RI Hospitality Association (RIHA), will speak about Workplace Harassment, a growing concern among employers. RIHA has developed this overview of Workplace Harassment to inform employers on their legal obligations and how to handle complaints. The PWCVB wanted to offer this training as a service to our partners, knowing that many of you are small businesses. RSVP to CRM Database and Research Coordinator Beth-Anne Tremaine

As always, be sure to add your events to our online calendar. If you have any questions or difficulties please reach out to PWCVB Digital Media Manager Nick Millard.

Providence Flea Holiday Market

Congratulations to The Providence Flea, which was named a "Readers' Pick" in the Spring 2018 issue of Flea Market Style and a "Top Flea Market & Vintage Show" in a separate, special edition Gardens issue. The Flea's next markets will be held at Hope High School in Providence on March 25, April 8 and April 22. Outdoor summer markets, held in Providence across from 345 South Water St., begin on June 3.

Rhode Island Brew Bus is looking for lodging partnership opportunities. This craft brewery touring company, founded in 2014, offers tours to public, private and corporate groups. Hotel partnerships will provide their guests an all-around amazing experience and increase their likelihood of a return visit. For more information, check out this link.

The city of Providence is about to get smaller, in the best possible way. That’s right, coming this summer we will have 400 JUMP Bikes! They’ll be conveniently located all over the city for anyone to use. These electric-assist bikes (e-bikes) make Providence among the first cities in the region to have such a program which allows residents and visitors to explore the capital city in a unique and exciting way. For more information, visit any of the four open houses:
