Dinosaurs are back in Providence! Travel 65 million years into the past with Roger Williams Park Zoo's Return of the Dinosaurs exhibit, open April 6 through Aug. 10. Get up close and personal with nearly 60 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including 25 new dinosaurs debuting this year. Take a walking dinosaur ride, pose for a selfie with a baby dino and even indulge your inner paleontologist with a fossil dig.

Look for special events like Dinosaur Family Nights on June 14 and Aug. 9, when the exhibit will open at 5 p.m. for an evening of family-friendly adventure in the distant past. Sensory-friendly sessions one hour prior to the zoo's opening will be available on April 27 and July 6.
