Greetings CALEA Attendees and families!

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2017 Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement (CALEA) Summer Conference.  The State of Rhode Island is honored that Providence was chosen as the site for this year’s summer conference and the Rhode Island State Police is proud to be your host.  

During this conference, you will have the opportunity to attend various workshops on current issues and future trends, as well as view the latest technological advances within our profession.  Equally important, there will be many opportunities to network with peers, key government officials and subject experts. 

We have worked vigorously with Rhode Island Police Accreditation Coalition agencies to make this a memorable and meaningful conference.  I invite you to participate in the many planned activities that have been put together for you and your families.  The “Ocean State” boasts miles of gorgeous coastline and cities and towns brimming with history so please explore and discover Rhode Island’s famed history, arts, beaches and cuisine.

Dear CALEA Conference Attendees:

The executive board of and the members of Rhode Island Police Accreditation Coalition would like to welcome all conference attendees to the Ocean State. We hope that you enjoy your visit.

The Rhode Island Police Accreditation Coalition is comprised of accredited law enforcement agencies from all over Rhode Island who embrace and strive to promote accreditation as a proven management tool.  The Coalition has been working tirelessly to assist our host agency, the Rhode Island State Police, in the planning and execution of a conference commensurate with the exceptional men and women who serve our communities nationwide.

There will be outstanding training opportunities and numerous activities available to attendees. The members of RIPAC are at your service and are willing to assist you in any way that we can.
