Taxi/Car Sharing Services
Distance: 9.9 miles to the downtown area from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport and approximately 13 minutes by car.
Taxi service to and from T.F. Green into Providence cost approximately $40, plus gratuity.
Ride Sharing – Ubers and Lyft’s are readily available at Rhode Island T.F Green International Airport. Pickup location is on the outer curb at arrivals. Cost is approximately $20.
Train Service from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport
Rhode Island T.F. Green Airport is conveniently connected to the MBTA commuter trains through the InterLink train station. Travelers can access the InterLink directly from the airport terminal through the skywalk. To get to the skywalk, proceed down the elevators to the ground level and walk to the far front left of the terminal, past the Visitor Information table, and look for signs directing to the InterLink connector. Train fares and schedules can be found on the MBTA website at mbta.com.
The train station is a short walk to most downtown hotels.

Boston's Logan International Airport features nonstop air service from more than 100 worldwide destinations. Located less than 50 miles from Providence, Logan offers convenient transportation options from Boston, including bus service pickup within steps of all five of its airport terminals. Peter Pan's three daily departures leave directly from Logan to downtown Providence, and Amtrak and commuter rail service is readily available from Boston.

The majority of international flights arrive at Terminal E. At the Information Center they will communicate in one's own language. The center of information is situated in Terminal E leaving the customs area.
Massport provides complimentary shuttle bus service between airline terminals at the arrival levels, Airport Station on the MBTA Blue Line, the Water Transportation Terminal and Economy Parking. Massport shuttle bus service operates seven days per week. All shuttle buses are wheelchair lift equipped.
Train Service From Logan
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) runs low-cost commuter trains to Providence from Boston and other points in Massachusetts. Call 1-800-392-6100 or visit www.MBTA.com for schedules and fares. Regional trains take 48 minutes and range in price from $12 to $19.
Amtrak offers many daily runs between South Station and Providence. Amtrak ranges from $22 - $45 and takes 40 minutes. Schedules and fares can be accessed at www.amtrak.com.
South Station may be accessed from Logan Airport by either Silver Line Shuttle or taxi. The Silver Line service takes approximately 20 minutes. An adult fare is $1.25. A taxi will cost about $15 and will take about 10 minutes.
The Providence Train station is located 5 blocks from the Omni, Courtyard and Biltmore.
Taxis are readily available outside the station. Cost is approximately $5.
Bus Service From Logan
Peter Pan Bus Lines has flexible bus service to Boston Logan Airport 7 days a week. Coaches are equipped with WiFi, DVD players and iPod jacks. Professional, courteous drivers will make sure you get to your flight relaxed and on time. If you are coming in to Providence please select the Downtown location. Buses arrive and depart from the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Rental Cars From Logan
Currently, 8 rental car companies operate at Logan International Airport. They include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty.
In Terminals C & E, all rental car companies have direct line telephone boards connecting to the local facility and their worldwide reservation centers.
Each rental car company has complimentary shuttle buses that transport passengers to/from the terminal and the rental car facility. Shuttles run frequently and stop curbside on the arrival level for passengers to board. Departure level service is available on request.
Travelers With Disabilities
Massport Shuttle Buses serve all terminals at approximately 10-minute intervals, and are wheelchair lift-equipped. They also serve the MBTA Airport Station, Logan Water Shuttle dock and Economy Parking. Buses are equipped with a visual and audio stop announcement system. Distances from curbside drop off areas to airline ticket counters vary from 50 - 200 feet. Curbside skycap services are available from most airlines.
