Getting Around

Providence is a uniquely walkable city. Dozens of restaurants and attractions are in walking distance to many of the area hotels. Train Service

Amtrak
Providence is conveniently located on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor route, which runs from Boston to Washington, D.C. and back. High-speed Acela service easily transports passengers from New York City to Providence in about two hours and 30 minutes. MBTA
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) runs low-cost, round-trip rail service from Boston to downtown Providence and to Warwick's T.F. Green Airport. During football season, the MBTA also runs service from Green Airport and Providence to Gillette Stadium. Check the www.MBTA.com during the season for more information.
