Base Station VR Lounge is Rhode Island’s first dedicated virtual reality arcade/lounge. Whether you’re looking to relax and spend time in the Arizona sunshine shooting zombies or go a bit wild and create virtual artwork that fills an entire room sized canvas in 3D, we’ve got the space for you! Base Station VR Lounge has several room scale spaces, all approximately 8'x8', which allow you to walk around a bit and not be constrained to one spot in “real” space, allowing the inner and outer you freedom of motion. Scheduling note: Weekdays are mostly advanced bookings only requiring a minimum 2 hours advanced notice (either online or via phone). Walk-ins are available Thursday and Friday nights from 5-10, Saturdays from 12-10, and Sundays from 12-6. We can accommodate up to 10 players at once, each with their own headsets, with the potential of all playing in the same experience together.

Gather is a dynamic, multi-faceted studio of creators who make memorable glassblowing experiences accessible to anyone. We design and produce glass art that tell stories based on universal themes of life’s richness, nature & wildlife, and our larger cosmos. We offer a variety of classes and long term mentoring for beginner glass blowers. We provide start to finish custom design and production of a range of products including volume manufacturing of high end/boutique glass items such as: birth stone & animal totem drinking glasses, glass jewelry, nature inspired sculptures, ornaments, memorials, awards and one of a kind artwork. Our mobile studio allows us to produce unique live glass blowing experiences for gatherings, public and special events, parties and celebrations. Our products are sold on-line via our website and other web retailers, and at live events and our studio/event space gift shop.

Set in one of Newport's most magnificent architectural sites, the Hall of Fame features a fascinating museum showcasing the history of tennis and its greatest champions, as well as 13 historic grass tennis courts open to the public.
