Weather

Rhode Island's weather has no regular "rainy" or "dry" season, with precipitation fairly evenly distributed throughout the year. The first measurable snowfall of winter generally comes toward the end of November, but may be as late as January. The month with the heaviest snowfall is typically February.

Winter
Layer clothing, and be sure to pack long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, socks, a medium-to-heavy coat, and gloves.

Spring & Fall
Bring long-sleeved shirts or light sweaters, raincoats, an umbrella and a light jacket.

Summer
Pack lightly, with shorts, t-shirts, sandals, a windbreaker or light sweater for evening, and - of course - your bathing suit.
