The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB) is proud to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Providence Restaurant Weeks. We began the event in July 2006, with one week and about 40 local restaurants participating. Over the years, we have grown the program into a two-week, twice yearly (January and July) event that has more than 80 participating restaurants from across Rhode Island.

We founded the program as a way to promote the area's vibrant restaurant scene and to support local restaurants, many of which are independently owned. Ten years later, Providence has been named the "America's Favorite City" by the readers of Travel + Leisure, earning high marks for our culinary scene, and most of the original participating restaurants are still in business. We'd like to thank all the people that support this program and support our restaurants. You are a huge part of our success.
