The festival features films in every format and genre. Animation lovers will be happy to know there are 18 animated films on the schedule, including "Solstice," the tale of an Inuit living in the Arctic Circle, and "Cardboard," featuring a single dad pig and his piglets.

Various locations around Providence will host the events, from the Avon Theater and The VETS to the Providence Showcase Cinema and the Donald J. Farish Auditorium at the Providence Public Library.
