What is the PVD Holiday Festival?
This multi-day celebration brings together Providence's favorite cultural organizations, including WaterFire Providence, FirstWorks, Ballet RI, The Avenue Concept and Trinity Rep, for a weekend packed with holiday magic. Expect live entertainment, workshops, roving performers, twinkling lights and activities the whole family will love.

Is the PVD Holiday Festival free?
Most events are free, including Pneufest, Grant's Block activities, WaterFire, the city tree lighting and Christmas on the Hill. Ice skating and performances of "A Christmas Carol" at Trinity Rep require tickets.
Where do I park for the PVD Holiday Festival?
Enjoy 2 hours of free parking at metered spaces in Downtown Providence, as well as other areas around the city. In addition, there are multiple private parking garages and lots around the downtown area. The free holiday trolley runs Saturday from 11:30 a.m.–6 p.m. to help you get around.
Is the festival family-friendly?
Yes! Activities include cookie decorating, photos with Santa, face painting and performances suitable for all ages.
