The Providence Rink Doesn't Take the Summer Off
Think the Providence Rink is just a winter thing? Think again! When the ice melts, this downtown hot spot shifts gears into full summer mode, with a lineup that gives you plenty of things to do all season long.
Start with the Super Fun Activities Club, offering adults-only team sports like volleyball, dodgeball and pickleball Monday through Thursday. Whether you're ultra-competitive or just in it for the fun, it's the perfect opportunity to show off your spiking abilities or relive old memories of junior high gym class.
Need a noontime reset? Lunch & Let Loose has you covered with Line Dancing on Tuesdays and Bachata on Thursdays. An hour of dancing beats a boring lunch at your desk any day.
Lace up your roller skates and hit the rink every Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday events, like Roller Disco and Roller Derby, pop up throughout the season too, so follow the rink's socials to stay in the loop!
When you're ready for refreshments, head to the Kiosk at Biltmore Park, opening June 10, for coffee, ice cream, snacks and more. Keep an eye out for activities like ping pong and chess, plus live music and entertainment.
