About La Gondola

La Gondola offers an authentic Venetian experience in the heart of Providence. Gliding along the Providence Riverwalk, guests see the sights of the Renaissance City like never before. Whether it's a romantic night out, a fun outing with friends or family, or an engaging tour of Rhode Island's capital, a private, personalized gondola ride is a unique way to unwind and relax. La Gondola's gondoliers serve as ambassadors of both Venice, with its rich history and culture, and Providence itself. And of course, no trip is complete without a little singing under the bridges!

La Gondola can also accommodate large groups by booking the entire fleet for corporate functions, weddings and receptions, and tour groups. Bring your favorite bottle of wine or prosecco (or anything else, no judgment!), call or book online (reservations are strongly recommended), and get ready to hit the water!

August is here, and while the days are still warm, there's an evening chill that's starting to remind us that fall isn't far away. The good news is that there's still plenty of time to get in all of those summer activities you've been planning to do.

Water Fire 050

With thousands of visitors every year, it's no surprise to find you can't get a last-minute reservation at one of the restaurants with a WaterFire view of the river. But with a little planning, you can still have a fabulous night and skip the crowds.
