Spanish soccer giant FC Barcelona announced today the expansion of its youth development program, FCB Escola, into Providence. FC Barcelona is expanding its presence in the US and, in addition to the recent opening of a new office in New York, the club is launching a Summer Soccer Camp with official coaches from FCB for boys and girls for this summer 2017 in Rhode Island!

The Providence Official FC Barcelona Soccer Camp will be from July 10 to July 14, 2017 at the Erickson Athletic Complex at Brown University. Admission is open now. Barça aims to provide the opportunity to thousands of American boys and girls, aged 6-16, to learn the same "Barça" style of play that has made the club the most dominant team in the world. Official coaches from FC Barcelona will come exclusively to Providence to conduct all training sessions. In addition to the unmatched training and coaching, a group of selected players from the camp will be invited to train in Barcelona at the FC Barcelona headquarters.

FC Barcelona has a presence in more than 23 U.S. cities, up from ten last year, with further growth planned in several more states with American partner ISL Futbol, including Portland OR, San Francisco CA, Los Angeles CA, San Diego CA, San Antonio TX, Austin TX, Denver CO, Chicago IL, Birmingham AL, Salt Lake City UT, Meridian ID, Kansas City, MO, Providence RI, Detroit MI.
