Visitors to Providence, RI, can warm up to the abundant gastronomic offerings of one of America’s hottest culinary cities during the second annual Winter Restaurant Weeks, scheduled from Sunday, January 15, to Saturday, January 28, 2012. More than 80 restaurants have signed on for this event and will feature special three-course prix fixe menus for only $14.95 for lunch and $29.95 for dinner, per person.

Winter Restaurant Weeks participants include fine dining establishments such as Mediterraneo, CAV, Mill’s Tavern and Gracies; Italian favorites such as Amici Bar and Grille, Caffe Dolce Vita, Pizzico Ristorante and Bacaro; French-influenced dining spots such as Hourglass Brasserie, Chez Pascal and Rue De L’Espoir; and eateries offering classic American dishes with a creative twist such as Vintage Restaurant, The Dorrance, Red Stripe and The Red Fez.

Providence Restaurant Weeks will partner with Yelp for the first time since the debut of the event. Yelp Providence will provide a weekly newsletter to give both locals and visitors up-to-date information on the latest openings and happenings.
