  • What is the Providence Culinary Collective? The Providence Culinary Collective is Rhode Island's premier food and wine festival. It's a four-day celebration of Providence's award-winning culinary scene, featuring wine dinners, cooking classes, signature tastings and diverse food experiences honoring the city's incredible culinary legacy.
  • When is the 2026 Providence Culinary Collective? What are the dates? The festival runs Thursday, March 26 through Sunday, March 29, with events scheduled throughout the four-day weekend.
  • Where does the Providence Culinary Collective take place? Events are held at various venues throughout Providence, including acclaimed restaurants, Johnson & Wales University's culinary facilities, Hope & Main's downtown marketplace and more. Each event listing includes the specific venue address.
  • Is this the first year of the Providence Culinary Collective festival? This is our second annual event. After a successful inaugural festival in 2025, we've expanded the program with more events, chefs and culinary experiences.

  • How do I buy tickets? Events and ticket links are listed at GoPVDEats.com. Each event requires a separate ticket purchase, and popular experiences sell out quickly.
  • How much do tickets cost? Ticket prices vary by event. Visit specific events for pricing on each experience.
  • Can I buy a weekend pass for multiple events? Currently, event tickets must be purchased individually.
  • Are any events free to attend? Yes! The Food Truck events on Saturday and Sunday offer free admission, although you'll need to purchase food and drinks directly from vendors. Events at Hope & Main and Track 15 are also free admission, but registration is requested.

  • What is the age requirement for events? Many events are 21+. especially wine tastings, wine-paired dinners, and bar experiences. Family-friendly all-ages events include cooking classes, food truck festivals and more.
  • Is the Providence Culinary Collective family-friendly? We offer both adult-only and family-friendly experiences. All-ages events include Johnson & Wales cooking classes and food truck events, while wine-focused programming is generally restricted to guests 21 and older.
  • Are venues wheelchair accessible? Yes, festival venues are ADA-accessible.

  • What types of events are offered? The 2026 lineup includes wine-paired multicourse dinners at Providence restaurants, a Grand Tasting with 30+ wineries, hands-on cooking classes and culinary museum tours at Johnson & Wales University, food truck events, brunches and luxury wine experiences.
  • What is the Wine X Grand TastingThe Rhode Island Wine Experience (Wine X) Grand Tasting is the signature event on Saturday, March 28. This premier tasting features 30+ wine vendors from around the world alongside Rhode Island chefs and special wine industry panels. VIP tickets include early access, premium tastings and an exclusive caviar experience.
  • What cooking classes are available? Johnson & Wales University offers hands-on classes taught by expert chefs, including the PVD Kitchen Academy Blitz Dough Class (bread and pastry techniques) and the Seafood Showcase Class (Rhode Island seafood preparation).
  • Which restaurants are participating? Participating restaurants include Gracie's, Nicks on Broadway (featuring James Beard-nominated Chef Derek Wagner), The Reserve on Dorrance, The Capital Grille, Bellini Providence, CHOP, Sarto and Track 15.

  • What is the Rhode Island Wine Experience (Wine X)? Wine X, a Providence Culinary Collective festival partner presented by RMO PR, brings expert wine curation and exclusive experiences to the event. Their programming includes the Grand Tasting, luxury wine dinners, Napa Valley wine experiences and Women in Wine showcases featuring international winemakers and sommeliers. 
  • What is the Vintners DinnerThis exclusive event showcases world-class French wines paired with innovative cuisine by James Beard-nominated Chef Derek Wagner at The Reserve on Dorrance for an intimate, unforgettable culinary experience.
  • What types of wine are featured? The festival features global wines, including Napa Valley selections, French wines, international varietals and women-owned wineries. The Wine X Grand Tasting showcases 30+ wine vendors with tastings of reds, whites, sparkling wines, rosés and specialty pours from renowned wine regions worldwide.
