Visibility in the Visitors Guide
As a partner you will also be included in the PWCVB's Visitors Guide, GoProvidence. The primary fulfillment piece of the CVB, GoProvidence is produced twice a year and is a valuable resource for thousands of visitors, meeting planners and convention attendees. As Rhode Island continues to grow as a sports destination, this publication also reaches scores of athletes, fans and families attending sporting events throughout the state.
Social Media Marketing
The PWCVB's social media marketing efforts have skyrocketed over the past few years and expanded to include video. We have nearly 135,000 fans across four platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest. CVB partners are featured prominently across these channels. We also have 300,000 views of our videos on YouTube. With crossover into Facebook, these fans have viewed our videos more than 600,000 times.
Expand Your Reach
The PWCVB's Visitor Information Centers prominently display partners' promotional materials for visitors to peruse. Partner information is also handed out at large city and statewide events, such as college basketball championships, US Youth Soccer championships, and conventions attracting thousands of delegates.
Partners have exclusive access to the PWCVB's confidential Convention Calendar, which provides the "who, what, when and where" about groups that are coming into the destination and how many attendees are expected.
Each month the PWCVB hosts a Partner Meeting at various partner business locations. Partners have the opportunity to give business updates as well as to network with each other.
