It's been almost 30 years since someone lit the black flame candle and the Sanderson Sisters made their first appearance. But they'll be up to their old tricks when "Hocus Pocus 2" comes out on Disney+ on Sept. 30. We are super excited for this movie's release, because not only does it mark the start of the spooky season, but most of the film was shot right here in Rhode Island!

While you’re watching the Sanderson Sisters being thrust into the modern world, be sure to keep an eye out for these Rhode Island locations:

Providence: Cranston Street Armory

The Cranston Street Armory was chosen for its high ceilings for the high flying sisters. Indoor flying scenes were shot here.

Providence: LaSalle Academy

The indoor school shots were filmed at LaSalle Academy, a private Catholic school on Smith Street in Providence.

Providence: Benefit Street

Salem was recreated on historic Benefit Street, including the “Haunted Salem Tour Trolley." There were other locations throughout Providence, including some on Federal Hill.

Lincoln: Chase Farm Park

The old-world Salem shots were filmed at Chase Farm. The crew built a replica of a Salem village last October. Unfortunately, they took the set down!

Newport: Washington Square

Modern-day Salem was recreated in Newport on Washington Square where they host a fall themed festival.

East Providence: Lakeside-Carpenter Cemetery

Some spooky cemetery scenes were filmed at the Lakeside-Carpenter Cemetery in East Providence.
